Bramante Homes Incorporated is a family-operated company that has been building homes in the Shenandoah Valley for 28 years. 

Returning visitors may remember us as Mark S. Brement Incorporated.  We're growing and our name has changed.  Today, Mark and Christopher Brement offer the same great homes you've come to expect; big trim packages, elegant inlayed hardwood floors, in-house custom designs and tons of upgrades. And now there are more than ever to choose from.

Mark Brement, founder of the company in 1977, offers a wealth of expertise and unparalleled creativity, attention to detail and quality.  In addition to his talents as master carpenter and premier homebuilder, Mark designs all of our speculative homes. 

Bramante Homes' architecture for speculative homes is best defined as neo-traditional; having attention to the updated demands of today's society but with a traditional backbone and underlying style.  The result is a product that has always and will always perform as our customer's greatest investment while spoiling the owner with modern amenities.

Custom homes are not limited to this neo-traditional style, as seen in our portfolio which includes French, Spanish, Victorian, Contemporary and other influences.  We are happy to consider any plans that you may be considering.   Furthermore, we offer complete design services and can help implement ideas that you can't quite get on paper. 

Natives to the area, whether realtors, real estate professionals, previous customers, or simply home connoisseurs are able to identify our homes long after the signs come down.  Meticulous attention to placement, scale, proportion, shape, texture, color and light in all details of design and construction make our homes unique and easy to identify.

Bios:

Mark Brement

Originally from the quaint and architecturally plentiful up-state NY town of Rome, Mark grew up surrounded by traditional and Victorian style homes. 

Childhood and adolescent handyman skills were polished with a formal construction and carpentry education in the U.S. Military.  After serving his country, Mark and his wife Carla picked Waynesboro for its rural atmosphere, beautiful landscape, wonderful mountain views, and to be with family.  For several years Mark spent summers building swimming pools and winters building houses.  The first house was his own.  In time, homes proved to be his passion and Mark focused on growing the homebuilding side of his business.  

Christopher Brement

Son to Mark and Carla, Christopher spent many of his childhood years on the jobsite; initially as a laborer and later as a carpenter's apprentice.  After graduating from The University of Virginia, Christopher worked for a commercial firm in Washington D.C. as a Project Engineer.  He returned to Waynesboro in 2003 and now serves the family company as Operations and Financial Manager.   

Brement v. Bramante

People often wonder why our company name is Bramante, but our last name is Brement.  Bramante is the Italian form of our last name.  Generations ago, when our family moved to America, our name was recorded as Brement.  We trade as Bramante Homes Incorporated in remembrance of our Italian heritage.
